I took the photograph of the small boy standing on the mud walls in Omdurman (in the Sudan)which were built by Mahdist forces laying siege to General Gordon in Khartoum (1884-85).

    It's a lovely poem… have you tried to contact the translator? The photo is most suitable, interesting effects… by clicking on the boxes it enlarges them… I suppose people all know this. Thank you for sharing.
